The Spanish Virtual Classroom (AVE) is an Internet learning environment created by the Cervantes Institute for the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language and to deliver teacher training courses.
The instructional material reflects the diversity and richness of the official language of more than twenty countries.
Interactivity and a wide variety of multimedia contents have made the AVE the best Spanish learning tool around.
The AVE is adapted to different learning paces and student profiles. It currently offers General Spanish courses for levels A1 to C1, a Spanish course for children, “¡Hola, amigos!”, Preparation courses for Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE), levels B1 and B2, and the AVE tutor training course for teachers.
AVE course students may study Spanish in a flexible manner, at their own pace: wherever they want, however they want and whenever they want.
Tutors are offered an online tutor training course that includes the teacher in an ambitious project involving information and communications technologies.
