AVE Global is the result of a project designed and supervised by the Cervantes Institute. Project technical coordination was conducted by its Academic Directorate (Organization and Academic Project Department), Technical Deputy Secretariat (IT Department) and Communication and Promotion Directorate (Digital Communication Department and Department for the Furtherance of Trade).
The teaching materials comprising AVE Global were designed and developed by the Organization and Academic Project Department’s Applied Technology and Academic Project Unit. The members of the technical-educational team are listed below.

AVE Global is the result of a technological and educational update (conducted between mid-2013 and late 2014) of the materials comprising the Aula Virtual de Español (AVE) platform’s General Spanish Courses.
An Academic Directorate educational team coordinated by OlgaJuanLázaro whose membership included Aurora Duque de la Torre, Javier Fruns Giménez, María Gil Bürmann, Milagros Ortín Fernández and César Sanz de la Morena, was responsible for educational design and development. Humberto López Morales, María Antonieta Andión Herrero and María Luisa Gómez Sacristán were the scientific advisors consulted for the materials used in the General Spanish Courses (2000-2013).
