Spanish courses for children: ¡Hola, amigos!

‘¡Hola amigos!’ is the name of Spanish courses for 8- to 12‑year-olds prepared by the Cervantes Institute in conjunction with the Alberta Ministry of Education in Canada.

Based on these courses, Edinumen, a publishing house, and the Institute have developed their 'Clan 7 with ¡Hola, amigos!' courses, based on the latest trends in language teaching and learning for children.

The materials focus on acquiring linguistic and cultural skills through amusing, sequenced, values-based content geared to each age group.

By developing active methods that entail ongoing interaction with the teacher and other children, ‘Clan 7 with ¡Hola, amigos!’ aims to provide pupils with motivated, active and creative learning.

Materials, designed to CEFR levels A1 and A2, also include two introductory levels for 6- and 7‑year-olds for institutions planning to begin to teach Spanish from very early ages.

In addition to materials for pupils, teachers are afforded a wide spectrum of resources to aid them throughout the course.
